At last... my reflection... my feedback

12 weeks... the 6 sessions...

The strengths of the course/workshop/seminar are

  • Being delivered through an e-platform, ‘discussions’ were captured and we can see some ideas among the ‘conversations’.
  • Because of the diversity of the participants’ background (coming from all over the whole), we get to hear how our counterparts used technology for learning, hence drawing some new ideas from there.
  • Own time own target {However, it also requires lots of self-discipline}
  • Peer review/feedback where we can hear from our peers’ perspective and suggestion.

Some suggestions for improvement are

  • Duration – though it’s good to have some breathing space, I think the 2-week period is a bit too long. Hence lost the momentum.
  • Collaboration – how does the coach monitor? Just through inputs from one representative of the team? The way it was done was a counter example.

I will use the knowledge and skills I have learnt in

  • In terms of the knowledge learnt: I’m more conscious and will make an effort to think in more depth and breadth when designing modules or lessons
  • I think it’s the experience of undergoing the e-learning has made me more aware of what e-learning is like (having experiencing it personally). This helps a lot in when planning/delivering (or even facilitating) an eLearning module:
    o What are the Dos and Don’ts – when managing learner’s behaviour in eLearning?
    o What kind of scaffolds is necessary to facilitate eLearning activities?
    o How to monitor activities (work in progress) of eLearning activities?
